Why a Code of Conduct?

When we represent Telavox, we are guided by the Telavox passion, our business cornerstones and our company culture. With this in mind, we have high expectations from ourselves, our customers and our partners. The object of the Code of Conduct includes principles for business ethics and to give guidelines for how we do business and act in a legally correct, fair and ethically acceptable way in compliance with laws and regulations.

This code applies to all employees, directors and consultants/partners engaged by of Telavox Group and other parties.

We commit to fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of the countries in which we operate, including but not limited to those relating to human rights, labor rights, anti-corruption, and data protection.

How to raise a concern?

If you come across a situation that you feel is odd and suspect that either the Code of Conduct or legislation is being violated, do not hesitate to raise your concern. Telavox promotes open and honest communication. Therefore, if the circumstances allow, concerns should first be raised by talking to the person involved. If this is not possible or appropriate, raise your concern to your manager or your HR representative. If you do not feel that the action above is appropriate, use our confidential trustline via WhistleB, a whistleblower functionality.

Unethical, illegal, or irresponsible behavior can cause serious loss or harm to Telavox and its employees, customers, and other stakeholders. That is why it is everyone’s responsibility to help prevent such activities.

Telavox encourages an open and honest culture where employees and consultants can raise concerns in good faith about any suspected case of misconduct or unethical behavior.

Diversity, equality and inclusion

We offer equal opportunities for employment, regardless of race, religion, gender, age, disability, family circumstances or sexual orientation. We work proactively to combat all forms of discrimination at the workplace or in the treatment of employees in terms of wage formation and career development. We endeavor to introduce appropriate processes to identify and deal with all cases of discrimination.

We have zero tolerance with regard to all forms of physical or verbal harassment at the workplace and will take measures against any such occurrence.

Human Rights and Labor Standards

We uphold and respect the fundamental human rights of individuals, including non-discrimination, freedom of association, and fair treatment of workers.

We are committed to contributing towards a positive human rights impact on society and strive to identify, prevent, mitigate and remedy adverse human rights impacts throughout our workplace, business operations and in the communities where we operate. We pursue to promote freedom of expression, privacy and the freedom of the media, but we do not get involved in party politics or policies.

We comply with governments’ requests to the extent required by law. We work to be as transparent as possible in relation to legal restrictions to our services that risk negatively impacting human rights.

Work environment

We provide a positive workplace and actively promote the health, job satisfaction and personal development of our employees. With regard to the design of the workplace, equipment, conduct, job descriptions, personal development and all other aspects of the work environment, this means that we take action to ensure that our employees have a work environment and working conditions that prevent physical and mena ill-health and that promote satisfaction and development.

Environment

We shall actively contribute to sustainable development by taking the environment into account in all aspects of our business and by making lean use of resources. Our business shall comply with the applicable environmental laws and regulations. In our contacts with our customers and partners we work to actively highlight the environmental benefits provided by our products and services. We welcome all forms of initiatives from our employees, customers and partners that will help us to achieve this goal. Immaterial rights

We shall comply with and respect all applicable national laws and regulations, as well as international conventions and treaties relating to the protection of immaterial rights, such as patents, brand names, designs and copyright. This means that we shall always respect the immaterial rights of others and thus produce and deliver our products and/or services without unauthorized exploitation or violation of the protected rights or business secrets of other parties.

Child labour

We do not accept the use of child labour. No person shall be employed at an age younger than 15 (or 14 where the national law so allows). Children must not be financially exploited. We must take the necessary preventive measures to ensure that we or the company’s we engage do not employ anyone below the legal age of employment.

Bribery and corruption

We shall contribute to a society in which there is a high level of confidence in companies, enterprise, the market economy and the rule of law. We shall endeavour to promote a high level of ethics in commercial relations and shall, therefore, take active measures to combat any form of bribery and corruption that can affect our business relations. All forms of bribery and corruption are banned in our business.

Conflicts of interest

We shall maintain the highest possible standard of integrity in all our business relationships. We shall act with impartiality, independence and integrity and any decisions made on behalf of Telavox must be based on an objective and fair assessment of the company’s interest without being impacted by our personal interest.

Competition

We support fair and lawful competition. Price fixing, market sharing, and similar anti-competitive practices are strictly prohibited.

Gifts and hospitality

We expect excellent standards of conduct from everyone and this includes being open and transparent about gifts and hospitality provided or received. We accept that the occasional modest giving and acceptance of gifts and hospitality may be a legitimate contribution to good business relationships. We are always compliant with local laws or rules that apply to public officials and do not offer gifts or hospitality to public officials except promotional items of minimal value, and only when it would be customary to do so.

Trade sanctions and import/export controls

We are committed to comply fully with all applicable sanction regulations and export controls, including those imposed by the UN, the EU and US, throughout the world.

Data protection

We prioritize the protection of personal data and confidential information, ensuring appropriate security measures are in place to safeguard data privacy. We handle customer data responsibly, adhering to applicable data protection laws and regulations.

Community Engagement and Social Responsibility

We actively contribute to the communities in which we operate, supporting social initiatives and sustainable development programs.

Reporting and Accountability

We maintain mechanisms for reporting any concerns or violations of our ethic principles, ensuring the protection of whistleblowers and prompt investigation of reported incidents.

We hold ourselves accountable for upholding these ethic principles and regularly review and update our policies and practices to align with evolving standards.
